Just a quick word..

Firstly, to everyone who reads my story, thank you! I haven’t provided any real updates in a while regarding what exactly I’m doing and things of that nature, so I’ll do it here with this really quick post.

I’m very grateful for those who take the time to read the story of a no-body like me. You are reading my book “Masters of Eldreon: The Master of Gears”, which I published about a year ago, by myself, using Amazon. I want to note that I am aware that I mistakenly published it too soon. I was so excited to get it out that I didn’t make sure it was really ready. Looking back now as I release it on this website, I see a lot of things I didn’t fix, particularly grammar and writing technique (showing vs telling for example, there’s a lot of telling).

Well, maybe that’s a good thing in a sense; it means I’m improving if I see my previous writing as subpar. I’d like to fix a lot of that, but I don’t want to risk invalidating the copyright I have on it, and I’ve got a lot going on right now to really go through and make the necessary changes to make the book really, truly solid.

I’m working on future installments to the series, and hopefully, you will see a significant improvement in the writing. If you want a hint at the future of the series, I’ve released the first chapter of the next book, “The Arlendene Gambit” here on this website! Give it a read, and see if you like it!

I’m also working on the one that comes after The Arlendene Gambit, and with that one, I really intend to make it more accessible, more kid-friendly while also still maintaining a healthy maturity to it, with shorter chapters of course. I’ve been releasing the chapters of the Master of Gears in two parts because of the lengthy chapters, and unfortunately, The Arlendene Gambit will have to go the same route. It wasn’t until this third book I started to become self aware of this.

I do hope in spite of the rocky start, you guys will enjoy this series. I love writing, I intend to keep going whether it is well-received or not. My hope is to provide meaningful, impactful storytelling in contrast to much of the dull, and what I think is lazy, uninspiring stuff we’re getting these days. I’ll talk to you all soon, God bless!
